New York Institute of Technology congratulates more than 580 students who were named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the Spring 2019 semester.

Seven students had the opportunity to work with Ethiopian artist Elias Sime as he created a site-specific oversized peony sculpture as part of his fall exhibition at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art. "Flowers and Roots" is made of repurposed computer parts, electrical wire, bronze sheeting, and cast stone amalgam. It was inspired by the tree peonies hybridized by Professor of Chemistry A.P. Saunders from 1920 to 1940, many of which are on display in Hamilton's Grant Garden.

Students recently completed the requirements for graduation from their academic degree or certificate programs at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The college's Class of 2019, which also includes students who completed their degree requirements in Fall 2018, encompasses students from around the Capital Region and around the globe, graduating from more than 80 degree or certificate programs.

The University of Alabama awarded some 5,716 degrees during its spring commencement May 3-5. Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester.

The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2019 spring semester.

Members of the Class of 2019 received their diplomas May 19 at Colgate University's 198th Commencement. Colgate Alumnus Antonio Delgado, U.S. Representative for the 19th Congressional District of New York, delivered the keynote address.

The University of Scranton conferred more than 850 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement.

More than 830 students have been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.

The Class of 2019 graduated on Sunday, May 26, in a ceremony concluding the College's 207th year. Freeman Hrabowski, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, delivered the Commencement address, advising graduates to "keep asking the hard questions and keep thinking of things we've not thought about - about social justice and inequality and seeking the truth." Hamilton's 490 graduates now join an alumni body of more than 23,000, many of whom have made important contributions to business, the professions, government and the arts.

These and other themes were reflected during Gettysburg College's 184th Commencement ceremony as we celebrated the accomplishments of our 611 graduates and looked forward with them to the future. Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni.

Hamilton's annual Class & Charter Day took place on May 13. Established in 1950, the event combines the traditional Class Day celebrating the end of classes with a commemoration of the granting of College's charter on May 26, 1812. The ceremony features an address by a historian, trustee, alumnus, or faculty member whose (subject) topic is related to Hamilton's history and traditions. Academic and scholarly achievement prizes are awarded to students and faculty. More than 150 students received prizes this year. In addition, 10 faculty members were honored for their contributions in the classroom.

On May 8, more than 300 Wesleyan students received University prizes and awards during a reception. Wesleyan's awards, prizes, and scholarships program connects recipients to the legacies of alumni, administrators, faculty, and friends of the university whose lives and work are honored through endowed gifts. Recipients of the academic scholarships, fellowships, and prizes represent the highest ideals of Wesleyan--intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, creative expression, leadership, and service.

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, NJ have been named to the Honors Lists for the Fall 2018 semester.

The SUNY New Paltz Department of Theatre Arts presents "The Servant of Two Masters," April 11-14 and 25-28.

University of Scranton students inducted into Beta Beta Beta, the national honor society for biology. For induction into the honor society, students must have completed at least three biology courses, maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in biology, and be in good academic standing at the University.

The SUNY New Paltz Department of Theatre Arts will present "for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf," with performances Feb. 28 to March 3 and March 7-10.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall 2018 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Students from Clarkson University were awarded bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees this fall on December 15th, 2018.

SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. The Dean's List honors students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average with a full-time course load.
